The work came before the brand.
Refund Fairy is built on hands-on experience resolving refund and purchase-dispute cases across SaaS, digital goods, and payment processors including Stripe and PayPal. Every case shown reflects a real outcome.
The service is priced to be accessible while we build a track record — not because the work is limited in scope. Our long-term direction is a broader consumer financial-optimization product that proactively identifies money owed to users, beyond refunds requested on demand. This offering is the foundation for that roadmap.

“I was double-charged for a SaaS tool my team uses, and reaching an actual person at the software company was a nightmare. Jon helped me organize the situation into a clear request, and the duplicate charge was reversed.”
“My 7-year-old bypassed my tablet's passcode and racked up over $150 in microtransactions. App store support said digital sales were final. Jon helped me organize the details and prepare my request. Three days later the money was back.”
“I bought a PC game that crashed every time I opened it. Because I'd left it running while troubleshooting, my refund was auto-denied for exceeding the playtime limit. Jon helped me identify the strongest points. I got my $70 back.”
“I enrolled in an online course during a live-launch push and the '30-day guarantee' turned out to have conditions nobody mentioned upfront. Jon helped me point to the specific promise that wasn't kept. Refunded within a week.”
Questions
So the $8 is refunded either way?
Yes. If the merchant refuses after you follow our approach, you get your $8 back. If they say yes and you tell us honestly how it went, good or bad, you get your $8 back for that too. We need a track record more than we need $8 right now, and this is the straightest way to build one.
Do I have to give feedback?
No. It's an option, never a condition. Keep your $8 spent and say nothing at all, and that's completely fine. If you do write something, we only quote it publicly with your permission, and we always note that you got your fee back.
Is the score really free?
Yes, and you don't need an email to see it — it runs entirely in your browser. If your case looks weak it will tell you so, because we'd rather lose the $8 than take a case that won't go anywhere.
How accurate is the score?
It's a preliminary read based on the factors that usually decide these cases: the grounds, the timing, your evidence, and what the merchant has already said. It isn't a guarantee. A person reviews your full case before anything is written, and if that review disagrees with your score, we'll tell you before you pay anything.
Can you guarantee I'll get my money back from the merchant?
No. The merchant makes the final call. What we do is make sure your request is as strong and clearly argued as the facts allow, so it isn't dismissed for the wrong reason.
Can I just write the request myself?
Yes. Our free request writer turns the facts of your case into a clear, ready-to-send request in about two minutes, with no documents and no signup. The $8 route is for when you want a person to find the strongest argument in your case, or when the merchant has already said no.
Do you contact the merchant for me?
No. You send the request yourself, in your own name. You keep control of your account and your communications.
What cases do you turn down?
Anything where you used the product as intended and simply changed your mind. We work on billing errors, duplicate charges, undisclosed renewals, cancellations that weren't processed, and products that didn't work as described.
What should I never send you?
Passwords, security or CVV codes, or full payment-card numbers. We never need them and won't ask.
