This page explains what information Refund Fairy collects when you use the free score or pay for a written request, why we collect it, and what your options are. We keep this simple on purpose — if anything here is unclear, email us and we'll explain.

1. What we collect

We do not require an account, and the free score does not require any personal information at all.

2. What we don't collect

We never see or store your card or payment account details — those go directly to our payment processor.
We do not sell your data to anyone, for any reason.
We do not use your case details for advertising or share them with merchants, data brokers, or marketing companies.

3. Who sees your case information

If you pay for a written request, a person on our team reviews your case details in order to write it. Nobody outside that review sees your documents. Your evidence is not published, shared, or reused for any other case.

4. How long we keep it

We keep case details for as long as reasonably needed to complete your request and handle any follow-up (like the honest-review guarantee). After that, we delete case-specific documents. Quiz answers used only for the free score, with no case submitted, are not retained long-term.

5. Your choices

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you.
You can ask us to delete your information — email hello@refundfairy.com and we will do so, except where we're required to keep records (for example, payment records for accounting purposes).
If you gave us feedback, you can ask us to remove or anonymize any quote of it at any time.

6. Analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics (Plausible) to see aggregate site behavior — for example, how many people start the quiz versus finish it. This does not use cookies or track you individually across other sites.

In plain terms: we collect what we need to score your case and write your request, we don't sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it whenever you want.

7. Changes to this policy

As a pilot-stage product, this policy may be updated as our process matures. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
